MAGIC CLUB	WEB MAGIC In Brief Mind Magic, like many branches of Magic, has many different facets. It is not easy to give a worthy portrayal of Magic over the Internet but here are a couple of attempts. One mostly for fun, the other genuinely having an effect on your brain but don't worry, it's only temporary!		I hope you found your visit interesting. Please call again.
	For fun... Follow the step-by-step instructions clicking Next when you are ready at each stage. Spots will be removed while attempting to sense your actions and avoid you. For each move, you are permitted to move to any adjacent spot. You can move back over already visited spots but you cannot travel diagonally. The X is provided for your convenience and will move to a spot when you click it. I cannot see it, of course, if you doubt my word, you can use your finger instead. The outcome will, clearly, be different each time. Although here, the colours may tip the method, a magician would largely disguise it in the presentation. 	For real... Mind Magic works by carefully pre-conditioning your brain in a very precise and deliberate way. Once done, you will see or sense things that you would otherwise not be able to do. Most commonly, this is done through some form of hypnotism but it is graphically similated in this experiment. Look into the centre of the spiral, relax and then allow yourself to be absorbed by it for twenty seconds or so. When you feel completely at ease, immediately look intently at a picture or even the back of your hand. What you will see is pure illusion but you yourself will not believe what you saw and yet, for the wonderful moment of magic, it will seem for all the world as though what you are seeing is very real indeed.
